Renee Clifton is an Aboriginal artist from the Kimberley region who paints a wide range of contemporary Aboriginal artworks based on her heritage and her enduring relationship to the land. The natural environment such as waterholes, bush fruits, animals and song lines inspire her works.

Family is often the focus of her paintings which are based on stories passed down to her from her elders or about family living and connecting to country.
